Fri May 31 13:19:22 CEST 2019 Timsen

In strong winds in the strait of Bali on May 31, 2019, at 11,30 a.m. big waves hit the KMP "Agung Samudera IX", and a loaded truck unit collapsed. The ferry had sailed from Ketapang Port to Gilimanuk Port. After approaching the Port of Gikimanuk, the blast caught the ferry, and the fastening rope of the truck broke, and it rolled over at the stern of the ship. The load of basic necessities transported by Levianus Totawa, bound from Flores from Mojokerto to Flores, spilled on the deck. After the "Agung Samudera IX" docked at Gilimanuk port, it was unloaded, then the overturned truck was removed and the ship was inspected by the authorities. "The incident of the overthrow of the truck on the ship was due to weather conditions such as strong winds and big waves. The truck can be evacuated and the ship has returned to the Ketapang port, "said Syahbandar Gilimanuk Ketut Aryadan
