Fire on converted luxury yacht
In the morning of Mar 25, 2014, at 8.45 a.m. a fire broke on the "Legend" in Velsen-Noord which was moored at Wijkermeer Way. The fire resulted in heavy smoke, and firefighters were on Scene with several units. They managed to extinguish the flames within short time. Then they ventilated the rooms. Four people were treated with mild smoke inhalation, three came to hospital. The fire broke out in the cabin area, where mattresses had caught fire. The exact cause of the fire was still unknown.
