Disabled bulker to be auctioned
The High Court, Republic of South Africa, (in the exercise of its Admiralty Jurisdiction) has ordered that the disabled “Panos Earth” is to be sold by means of Judicial Public Auction. Admiralty Shipbrokers & Consultants (“Admiralty Shipsales”), the company duly appointed brokers by the abovementioned Court, will conduct the said auction in Cape Town on June 20, 2012. The vessel may be inspected. Any buyer must agree to carry out repairs on the vessel, allowing to continue its voyage and to deliver its cargo of iron-ore to China.
