Four migrants rescued off Trafalgar
On May 27 at 1.59 a.m. the 'Salvamar Enif' rescued four North African migrants from a toy boat, which had been located 16 nautical miles southwest of Trafalgar. The castaways were disembarked in Algeciras/El Saladillo. The response was coordinated by the MRCC of Salvamento Maritimo in Tarifa.
Five migrants rescued from toy boats
On the early morning of May 22 the 'Salvamar Enif' rescued five North African people who were riding united toy boats. After 1 a.m. in the morning they arrived at the port of Barbate. The response was coordinated by the CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Maritimo.
Four migrants rescued off Banco de Hoyo
In the morning of May 7, 2024, the 'Salvamar Enif' rescued the four occupants of two toy boats which were located south of Banco de Hoyo at dawn. They have been transferred to the port of El Saladillo, in Algeciras, where they arrived at 1:03 a.m. The CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo, which coordinated the operation, also mobilized the Helimer 223 SAR helicopter.
