Control loss in Cacouna
The 'Mirjana K', while pushing a barge, suffered a failure of its port side main engine and bow thruster controls while berthing in Cacouna, Quebec, in position 47 55 41.7N, 069 30 55.1W,on June 25, 2021, at 5.15 a.m. Another tug came to assist and helped with the maneuver. The ship remained stationary as of June 30.
Sold and renamed Irving Birch
On Apr 18, 2012, the "Thor Supplie" sailed into St Johns, New Brunswick, Canada and was officially handed over to her new owners, Atlantic Towing Ltd. Her last voyage was from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to her new owners. Hans Andrias Joensen, CEO and Per Gulklett, marketing director were present to receive her and sign the formal handover. She is renamed "Irving Birch".
