On March 31, 2019, at 6 a.m. the Ane Læsø" on the way to Frederikshavn had to turn around because of bad weather. When it was about to dock in Vesterø again, the ferry allided with the dock, and a packing rail which ensures the water tightness between the bow port and the ship itself, was damaged. The repair of the damage started soon after, and the ferry departed from Læsø again at 7.30 p.m.

Grounding in Hou

Tue Feb 02 09:55:39 CET 2016 Timsen

In the morning of Feb 2, 2016, at 6:35 a.m. the "Ane Læsø" ran aground on a stone jetty in the inner part of Hou while leaving port at low speed. The ship possibly suffered propeller damage. The operator Samsø Rederi cancelled all sailings and has ordered a diving company to investigate the rudder and propeller. The ferry resumed its service on Feb 3 and entered the port of Kolby Kas around 8 a.m. The accident was thought to have been caused by strong winds.

Fire alert on ferry

Tue Mar 09 09:50:03 CET 2010 Timsen

On Mar 7, 2010, the "Vesborg" returned to Tårs only 10 minutes after its departure for Spodsbjerg at 8 p.m. due to a fire alarm on board. The crew found out that there was dense smoke emerging from a bus on the car deck. Oil had caught fire, and the crew extinguished it soon. The 19 passengers had been kept informed by the captain and were at no time endangered. While the ferry resumed its trip to Spodsbjerg, a fire guard kept an eye on the damaged bus.
