Ataman refloated
On May 19 at 4.10 p.m. a salvage contract was signed for the "Ataman" which had rund aground on May 18 at 10.40 p.m. in spite of warnings by the Vessel Traffic Services in Istanbul which were ignored by the captain. The "Kıyı Emniyeti 7" and "Kurtarma 3" were sent to the grounding site. At 5.30 p.m. the the ship was refloated.
