Tanker evacuated after fire
The "Bo Feng You 10" reported a fire on board in the morning of Mar 7, 2016. The vessel was in the Dalian Bay with 600 tons of diesel oil on board. The fire had started in one of the cabins and spread around in the superstructure, so that the master requested an evacuation. Salvage vessels and fire fighting tugs were sent to assist, and the crew was evacuated. The fire was extinguished within several hours. The cargo tanks and cargo remained intact.
