Collision near Azov

The cargo m/v "Vodla 2" was in collision with the "Comanche" near the port of Azov, on the River Don on Sep 13, 2018, at 11.20 p.m. Both ships suffered minor damage above the waterline. The "Vodla 2" was enroute from Rostov-on-Don to Amoliapolis, ETA Sep 19. The "Comanche" was coming from Istanbul The "Vodla 2" was carrying 4000 tonnes of grain in bulk, the "Comanche" was in ballast condition. The "Vodla 2" suffered a deformation on the port side foreship and it was repaired under class supervision, before it proceeded to its destination Kavkaz anchorage. The "Comanche" suffered a deformation on starboard side at the railings, bulwark and supporting hatch-covers decks' stanchion. The vessel was repaired without class supervision. Upon completion of loading on Sep 22, it proceeded to its destination Kavkaz anchorage.
