Failure of steering gear pump

The 'Emanuele S' suffered a failure of one of its steering gear pumps at Les Rasades anchorage off Les Escoumins, Quebec, in position 48 18 53.8 N, 69 02 04.6 W, on Dec 5, 2019, at 4 pm. On Dec 6 the vessel was located stationary 8.6 nautical miles off Trois Pistoles.

Propulsion failure off Montreal

The "Emanuele S" suffered a propulsion failure at the anchorage off Section 55, Montreal, on June 2, 2019. The crew subsequently carried out repairs while the tanker was at anchor. The ship, which was enroute to Hamilton, remained moored in Montreal on June 5.
