The 'Kefalonia', en route from Los Angeles to Vancouver, suffered an failure in position 48 21 27N, 123 20 06W, about 2,74 nautical miles south-southwest of Race Rocks, while transiting the Juan de Fuca Strait, British Columbia, on July 25, 2021 at 8.15 a.m. The vessel anchored in Constance Bank,, where the crew carried out repairs, and it arrived in Vancouver on July 27.

Cooling water trouble off Vancouver Island

The 'Kefalonia' was disabled due to a main engine cooling water system problem off Vancouver Island, British Columbia,in position 48 30 35N, 124 51 22.3W, on May 20, 2021, at 08.30 a.m. The crew members carried out repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage from Vancouver to Long Beach with an ETA as of May 26.
