Bulk carrier Miraero Brave loaded with 57050 tons of coal destined for New Orleans ran aground leaving Vysotsk port, Russia, Baltica sea, on Sep 19 13. Vessel stranded off channel and grounded in buoy No 3 area. Attempts to refloat by own means failed. No leaks reported, traffic not affected. Later master reported water ingress in forepeak. Salvage is pending. As of morning Sep 21 vessel was in the same position.
