Allision in Benoa
On Apr 21, 2017, at 7 p.m. the "Wilis" allided with the berthed vessel "Sea Safari VII" at the East Port of Benoa, Denpasar, in Bali. The cruise boat was pushed into the docked Japanese f/v "Ryoyoshimaru No. 08". The f/v was docked in front of the cruise boat . The "Wilis", carrying 64 crew and 46 passengers on board, was underway southward towards the pier when it suffered a failure of the starboard engine and was caught by currents. The disabled vessel slammed into the dock, hitting the "Sea Safari VIII" at the stern. Both she and the "Ryoyoshimaru No. 08" suffered damage, the latter to the railing and the starboard foreship, the cruise boat to the port and starboard side aft and the starboard bow. The "Wilis" was breached above the waterline. The damage to the fishing boat was to be compensated by PT Pelni, the operator of the passenger ship, with 100,000 USD.
