In the afternoon of Feb 4, 2010, the "Nadja"allided with a quay in the Neustädter port in Bremen. It hit the quay at warehouse 22 while attempting to depart from warehouse 21 and turn around with the assistance of a tug. Instead it ran into the quay with its stern. The quay was significantly damaged, the bulkhead dented and torn, the paving buckled. The cause of the allision was a fault in the ship`s electronic by which the pitch propeller could not be rerouted and the ship turned further around. The damage caused is some 10000 Euro. The ship departed for its next destination St. Petersburg on Feb 5 around midday, ETA Feb 8, 2 p.m.
