New chance for RG 1?
It may be that the "RG 1" will not be scrapped in Grenå. There were three bidders who are very interested in buying the ship for different purposes. So far, it will not be scrapped or emptied of equipment and furniture. It still has four years to the next classification. It may therefore be attractive to sell it in the state it is, stated Fornaes Ship Breaking.
End of final voyage
On Feb 19 the "RG 1" was delivered at Grenå breakers by the tugs "Meteor" and "Polaris".
