Four cargo ships aground

Sun Jul 10 12:14:43 CEST 2016 Timsen

Four Chinese cargo vessels, the "Qin Feng 1", "Qin Feng 9", "Qin Feng 208" and "Qin Feng 219" ran aground south of Taizhou, in the Luqiao district, late at night on July 4, 2016. In the face of the upcoming typhoon Nepartak, the crews of the "Qin Feng 9" and "Qin Feng 219" were evacuated on July 6, 2016. The crews of the "Qin Feng 1" and "Qin Feng "208 were rescued on July 8, because of the deteriorating weather. The ships remained aground, suffering hull breaches and water ingress.
