The „Dat Ole Land“, 110 dwt, which connects Lühe and Schulau, returned to service on Sep 7 after it had suffered machine failure on the Elbe near buoy 120 two days ago being underway to Lühe with 70 passengers on board. A faulty computer chip was found to have caused the propulsion trouble and was replaced on Sep 6.

On Sep 5, 2010, at 5.15 p.m. the German ferry „Dat Ole Land“ suffered machine failure on the Elbe and drifted in the shipping lane. Forces of the fire rescue from Niedersachsen, Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg as well as the German Life Saving Society (DLRG) proceeded to the ship Also the ferry “Falkenstein” resonded, which connected to the vessel and towed it to Lühe, where the passengers disembarked. The sailings of the “Dat Ole Land” on Sep 6 were cancelled.
