Disabled ship under tow to Tuzla

The 'Viktor', which had suffered a technical failure at Piraeus on Feb 1, 2021, was taken in tow by the Greek tug 'Apollon' (IMO: 7431806) on Aug 27 at 8.50 p.m. after repair attempts by the crew had failed. The ship was to undergo permanent repairs in Tuzla. The vessel is estimated to arrive at Tuzla on Aug 31.

Collision at Benghazi

On May 7, 2013, the British roro Ferry "Tyrusland" entered Marsaxlokk Port with damage to foreship on port side above the waterline resulting from a collision. The ship came from Benghazi and sailed to the Canteen Wharf in Valletta on May 8 around 5 a.m. According to odin.tc the "Tyrisland" was in collision with the "Munevver" around May 1 at Benghazi, the AIS of which being switched off since.
