On June 16, 2021, at 7.10 a.m. the 'Hong Fu', upon its arrival from Son Duong, allided with a berth while arriving at the port of Shimizu. No damage to the hull was reported, but the berth and a car stopper suffered some damage. The ship remained in port as of June 17.
