Iran seized another ship
The "Al Buraq", carrying nearly 283,900 liters of diesel, was seized in the east of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran forces on Sep 7, 2019. The 12 crew members from the Philippines were detained. The allegedly, smuggled fuel, was used as the vessel was engaged in supply activities for ships anchored off UAE coast in Gulf of Oman, and didn’t call Iranian ports. On Sep 2, the ship appeared at Bandar Abbas, on Sep 4 it was taken to Qeshm port, near Bandar Abbas. Before, the ship had lost its’ portside anchor somewhere.
