Luxury yacht grounded off Aegina
The "Alouette II" with 18 passengers on board ran aground 300 meters off Aegina port in the Saronic Gulf, in the morning of July 16, 2016. The Coast Guard Aegina dispatched the tug "Maltezos II" and "Maltezos Rescue" with a Maltese diver on board. With their assistance the "Alouette II" could be detached and anchored 0,7 miles southwest of the port of Aegina. In the evening she sailed to Perama, where she was anchored for surveys.
