Cruise ship did not hit a coral reef

Sun Dec 22 11:31:49 CET 2019 Timsen

The 'Aqua Blu' has been anchored at the port of Waisai in Raja Ampat, for further inspections. An initial examination of the area where the vessel ran aground showed that the vessel did not allide with a coral reef but rocks within the Raja Ampat Marine Protected Area, however local authorities will still double check and verify for any damages caused by the accident. Investigations were still ongoing.
