Propeller clutch issue in Dover Strait
The 'Arco Avon', en route from Greenhithe to Rochester, UK, with a cargo of 4000 tonnes of Marine aggregate on board, suffered an issue with the propeller clutch in the southwest lane of Dover Strait Traffic Separation Scheme in pos. 51 08 10.0 N, 001 36 10.3 E, on July 6, 2022, at 06.25 a.m. UTC. After the repairs were completed, the vessel was back under way at 6.45 a.m.
Control loss of air control
The 'Arco Avon; en route from Thamesport to Dagenham with 11 crew members on board, lost control of its air control main engine lost control, in position 51 38 43 N, 001 16 15 E, about 9,1 nautical miles south-southeast of Clacton-on-Sea on June 18, 2022. The vessel was carrying 4500 metric tonnes of marine agrogot as cargo. The air control could be restored and returned to working condition, and the ship arrived in port at 8.45 a.m. IT sailed again on June 20 at 1 a.m., headed to Hastings.
