Tug disabled off Saint John

The "Atlantic Cedar", while assisting an inbound tanker to its berth in Saint John, suffered an failure in position 45 15 8 N, 66 3 16 W, on April 25, 2019. The tug had to abort its assistance and anchored, until it was towed to a dock by another tug for repairs. It arrived at Saint John on April 26 at 10.20 a.m.

Tug suffered engine failure

While the "Atlantic Ceder" was assisting an inbound tanker to berth in St. John's, it suffered an engine failure in position 45 15 8 N, 66 3 16 W, on April 25, 2019, at 10.05 p.m. The vessel with a crew of four on board had to abort the assistance and anchor. The "Atlantic Cedar" was subsequently towed to the dock by another tug for repairs.
