Propulsion trouble in Emerald Basin
The 'Atlantic Sea Clipper' with three people on board was disabled with a fouled propeller in the Emerald Basin in pos. 44 25 16 N, 062 15 36 W, 26.20 nautical miles southsoutheast of Stone Island, Nova Scotia, at 9,50 p.m. UTC on March 14. The vessel was towed to Halifax by the Canadian Coast Guard Ship 'Hare Bay', assisted by the fishing vessel 'Seaman's Toy 1' and the tug 'Atlantic Fir' (IMO: 9324916).
Disabled ship towed to Sambro
The Atlantic Sea Clipper' with four crew members on board, wa disabled in position 44 27 04N, 063 32 04W, about three nautical miles east-southeast of Sambro, Nova Scotia, on Oct 11, 2021, short past 3 a.m. Subsequently, the vessel was towed to Sambro by the patrol vessel 'Hare Bay' of the a Canadian Coast Guard.
