Communication loss to tanker

After the 'Au Libra' departed from Chittagon enroute to Padan on Jan 16, 2021, at 6.10 p.m., the last communication with the vessel by email was on Jan 17 at 3.30 p.m. aThe last reported coordinates were in position 13 49 57N, 094 02 59E, on Jan 18 at 12.42 p.m. The tanker crew has been requested to contact theSingapore MRCC as soon as possible. Other vessels in the area were requested to report to the MRCC if the 'Au Libra' is sighted.

Tanker boarded by robber

Teh duty able seaman aboard the 'Au Libra' which was berthed in position 13 46 40N, 121 00 30E, at Batangas port, Philippines, noticed a robber with a long knife near the forecastle on March 22, 2020, at 6.55 p.m. The duty crew member immediately informed the Officer of the Watch. An alarm was raised, and the crew mustered. Seeing the alerted crew members, the robber fled the vessel and escaped. The vessel and crew members were safe.
