Ferry disabled off Eidsdal

The "Aukra" was disabled on July 16, 2017, due to propeller problems enroute from Eidsdal to Linge. She managed to return to the dock in Eidsdal where the vehicles on board were unloaded. She remained at the quay to be repaired, leaving only two ferries on the popular ferry route.

Sea cable caught in ferry anchor

In the afternoon of Jan 27, 2015, the "Aukra" encountered problems during an anchor manoever. When the crew pulled up the anchor it took with it a Telenor sea cable which was broken, leaving parts of Gossen without broadband and phone. 233 households were affected. Telenor was working to locate the fault and repair the damage. At 7.24 p.m. the ferry was back in service, but operated behind schedule. Aukra disabled by tube

The "Aukra" which has been inserted as a replacement ferry on the Ørsneset - Magerholm route was disabled by a tube in the Propeller in the afternoon of May 3. The "Aukra" was inserted as a replacement ferry for damaged Ferry "Ivar Aasen" at 10:30 a.m. The tube had been lying on the bottom and got into the Propeller around 2.30 p.m. Departures from 3.30 p.m. on were cancelled while it was attempted to remove the tube. This succeeded in the run of the afternoon, and the ship returned to regular service again.
