Oil spill in St. Petersburg

On March 10, 2020, the supply of the 'Baltic Spring' with fuel caused an oil spill of 10-12 square meters in the Coal Harbour of St. Petersburg at the berth of the Baltic Shipbuilding Plant (BSMZ). The reason was non-compliance with the rules for bunkering manoever of the 'Baltic Spring' with the 'Baltic Seagull'. The anti pollution team der Professional Emergency Response Team (PASF) LLC Kontur SPb was mobilized and laid out oil booms, supported by the tug ‘Borey‘ before the fuel was recovered by the ‘SLV 12‘. Hard drugs hidden under wooden flooring

After the "Hansa Stcokholm" berthed in the Bijleveld Port of Flushing, coming from Hamburg, on May 16, 2012, the Dutch Customs found 21 kilogramm of harddrugs onboard the ship. The drugs were found under grated wooden flooring after unloading bananas from Equador. The police has started an investigation. On May 18 the ship departed again from Flushing, being bound for Paramaribo, ETA May 27.
