Fire in pump control room of loaded tanker at berth in Taichung Port, no injuries
Fire erupted in pumps control room on board of product tanker BAO SHAN III in the evening Oct 24, while the vessel was docked in Taichung port with cargo of jet fuel. CO2 firefighting system was activated, port fire fighting team was deployed to cool bulkhead of the compartment on fire. Fire was extinguished, no injures reported, tanker is to commence offloading today Oct 25.
