Passenger died on board

The Philippine Coast Guard-Oriental Mindoro Station, Philippine Ports Authority, and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office transported the body of an elderly passenger who lost consciousness while on board the 'Binibining Coron' at the Calapan City Port on Nov 12, 2023. Evangelista was pronounced dead-on-arrival by the attending physician. He had experienced dizziness and difficulty in breathing upon returning to the accommodation area of the vessel. His daughter notified the vessel’s crew about the physical condition of her father. The crew of the vessel alerted the PCG and Philippine Ports Authority which coordinated with PDRRMC for an immediate assessment.
