Ferry lost anchor

The 'Blue Star Naxos', with 519 passengers on board, lost its port side anchor en route from Naxos to Paros on Sep 10, 2023, at around midnight. The vessel arrived safely at Paros port, where the passengers disembarkation took place. After the class inspection, the vessel sailed with a delay to Piraeus port.

Injury during mooring manoeuvre

The Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed, in the afternoon of May 24, 2023, by the master of the 'Blue Star Naxos' about the injury of a crew member atthe hand, during the process of mooring the ship in the port of Paros. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Piraeus.

The Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed on May 13, 2022, at noon that a crew member of the 'Blue Star Naxos' was injured on board and needed medical treatment. He was transferred to a private clinic. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Port Authority.
