Passenger injured during disembarkation
The Naxos Port Authority was informed at noon on Aug 9, 2019, that during the disembarkation of passengers from the "Blue Star Patmos" a 71-year-old Greek crashed into railings on the central pier of Naxos, injuring his hip. He was taken by ambulance to the Naxos Health Center for medical care. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the relevant Port Authority.
Passenger died after medevac in Paros
In the evening of Sep 15, 2018, the "Blue Star Patmos" diverted from its scheduled route Piraeus-Astypalea -Kalymnos -Kos -Nisyros -Tilos -Rodos to Paros due to an extraordinary serious health incident of a 44-year-old passenger. When the ship arrived at the port, the 44-year-old was taken by an ambulance of the EKAB and then followed a flight to the General Hospital of Nicaea, where the 44-year-old man died. In the night of Sep 13, the port authority of Agios Kirikos was informed by the captain of the "Blue Star Patmos", serving the route from Piraeus to Agios Kirikos - Fournis - Patmos - Lipsi - Kalymnos - Kos - Nisyros - Tilos - Symi - Rhodes - Kastelorizo, that a 64-year-old passenger was injured on his left shoulder after falling.
