The sailings of the 'Catriona' between Lochranza and Claonaig had to be cancelled on Aug 1, 2021, due to a power supply issue. The technical issue was rectified, and the vessel resumed service on Aug 2 at 7.20 a.m. according to its schedule.

Ferry broke down at Largs

Wed Jan 29 09:54:09 CET 2020 Timsen

On Jan 26, 2020, the 'Catriona', serving as a replacement ferry on the Largs to Cumbrae route, suffered a breakdown while the 'Loch Shira' was underoing its annual maintenance check. The electric hybrid vessel suffered a technical fault and remained at Largs Pier.
