Pirate attack foiled

Thu Sep 15 10:27:06 CEST 2011 Timsen

On Sep 11, 2011, the "Bunga Mas 5" foiled an attack on the ""Eagle Stealth" in the Strait of Bab Al-Manden. The pirate attack took place while the ship was sailing 30 miles off the coast of l Mukha. 5 skiffs with about 15 persons on board had approached the starboard side when the six armed guards aboard the "Bunga Mas 5" fired a warning shot causing the pirates to abort their attack. The "Eagle Stealth" with a crew of 26 was carryiing 56000 tons low sulphur fuel oil at that time.
