North Sea activities —published on the basis of information from offshore operators in the Danish sector Annual diving inspection at DUC fields The diving support vessels NOORDHOEK CONSTRUCTOR and NOORDHOEK PATHFINDER are mobilised for approx. 2 months work with divers, mainly in operation inside of the installations’ 500 meter safety zones. Mariners are requested to keep a safe distance to the diving activities.

DSV Noordhoek Constructor klaar voor vertrek 08 juni 2010, Na de oplevering door de Japanse werf in Niigata op 13 januari is de DSV na een twee maanden lange zeereis via Indonesië, de zeestraat tussen Java en Sumatra, Kaapstad en Las Palmas op 15 maart in Vlissingen aangekomen. Voor deze langere route is gekozen om piraten in de buurt van Somalië mis te lopen In Vlissingen is in korte tijd het Saturatie Duiksysteem ingebouwd en zijn de 100 tons kraan en het helidek geïnstalleerd. Na de nodige testen buitengaats, voor Lloyd’s Register en andere certificeringsinstanties, is het schip nu volledig gecertificeerd en inzetbaar. Het eerste Europese project voor de “Noordhoek Constructor” zal een drie maanden durend inspectie- en constructieproject zijn. Op dat project zal ook het zusterschip de “Noordhoek Pathfinder” een rol van een aantal weken spelen. De voorbereidingen voor dit project zijn al in volle gang en naar verwachting zal in juni op locatie worden gestart.
