The 1995-built CRYSTAL SYMPHONY will undergo an EUR multi-million refurbishment at Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven this fall. The major refurbishment includes the creation of two new restaurants and 40 new suites.
Crystal Cruises back to Dover
For the first time since 2015, on 10 August, the renowned 238m long, 12-deck luxury cruise ship Crystal Symphony called at Dover bringing approximately 1,000 discerning passengers to the town. Three further calls in August will follow and, with additional calls already booked for 2018, 2019 and 2020, the celebrated cruise ship will be a valued, regular sight in Dover in the future.
2 Crystal Cruise Ships to Undergo Major Refurbishment
Crystal Cruises has announced that two of its ocean ships will undergo a major dry dock refurbishments in 2017 and 2018. The luxury cruise line has released details on upgrading two of its ships. Crystal Symphony will begin its dry dock from September 19-October 21, 2017 and Crystal Serenity from October 14-November 10, 2018. The ships will be launched with new enhancements and features which the cruise line has detailed below. Both ships will gain more of the spacious, butler-serviced Penthouses and Penthouse Suites. Crystal Symphony will see two new categories of accommodations altogether: Seabreeze Penthouse Suite with Verandah (12 new suites added) and Seabreeze Penthouse with Verandah (28 new suites added), both occupying Deck 9, Seabreeze. The new accommodations will boast the same square footage as existing Penthouses and Penthouse Suites (367 sq. ft. and 491 sq. ft., respectively), while Seabreeze Penthouses will be connected by a shared an entryway recessed from the hall. https://www.cruisehive.com/2-crystal-cruise-ships-undergo-major-refurbishment/16535Upload News
