Ferry had crack in the hull
The crew of the "Detroit Jet", upon the arrival at Tangier from Tarifa, noticed a large crack in the hull of the ferry on Sep 5, 2019, at 7 p.m. In addition to the crack, the ferry's two engines also had problems. As a result, it was detained in Tangier. Hundreds of passengers waiting for the ferry were requested to wait for a few hours for another ferry.
