Medevac after crushing accident off Cornwall
A seriously injured man was airlifted from the Discovery" 137 miles off the coast of Cornwall on July 28, 2015. SAR crews from RNAS Culdrose, near Helston, were called out to the ship after a 40 year old crewman was reported to have suffered major injuries in a crushing incident around 6 a.m. The man was transferred to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
