Engine trouble in the Northsea
The "Endurance" went adrift due to a problem with a bearing on the main engine, in position 50 11 41 N 02 54 98 W, on July 10, 2018. Repairs were effected and the vessel arrived at Antwerp on July 11. It sailed again on July 14 at 04.55 a.m.
Freighter suffered main engine trouble
The 'Endurance', en route from Belfast to Antwerp, carrying 5.262 tonnes of containers went adrift due to a problem with a bearing on the main engine, in position 50 11 41 N, 002 54 98 W, on July 10, 2018, at 04.05 a.m. Repairs were effected by the crew, and the vessel resumed its voyage. It dropped anchor on Westhinder Anchorage on July 11 at 1.50 a.m.
Oil pump damage disabled container ship
The "Endurance", enroute from Antwerp to Belfast, suffered a lube oil pump defect in pos. 51 17 N 01 50 E on Apr 1, 2018, at 10.55 a.m. The vessel left the Traffic Separation Scheme and was drifting outside the lane before it moored on the Tongue anchorage, where spare parts were shipped out from Dover to the vessel. Repairs were completed at 8.30 p.m., and the ship resumed its voyage, ETA Apr 3, 5 p.m.Upload News
