Disabled cargo ship towed to Aliaga
In the evening of Apr 1, 21017, the "Ceyda Aytekin" suffered engine failure with a crew of 14 on board about 7,5 miles north of Andros and requested towing assistance. The ship had come from Agadir and was laden with 4926.5 tons chydin copper destined for the Black Sea. The tug "Pantanassa" was deployed to assist and pulled the ship to Aliaga on Apr 2 at 11 p.m. where the tug "Pantokrator" went on standby.
