Power loss off Immingham
The 'Eviapetrol V', while en route from Terneuzen to Immingham with 17 crew members and a pilot on board, suffered loss of power and shaft generator in position 53 37 51 N, 000 07 33 W, about 1.9 miles off Immingham, on Jan 9, 2021, at 10.10 a.m. The vessel was carrying 4200 tonnes of liquid fertiliser as cargo. The tugs 'Superman' and 'Manxman' were called to assist due to the position of the ship in the river. The vessel was towed out of the channel, and the crew completed at 12.30 p.m. The vessel finally berthed in Immingham on Jan 10 at 11.20 a.m.
