SAR-ship in need of help
On Jan 9, 2018, the "Falkungen", the former NSSR-boat "Platou" was disabled by a rope in its propeller enroute from Fosnavåg to Kristiansund. The lifeboat "Idar Ulstein" of the NSSR-station Fosnavåg was called to assist and sent divers down to clear the propulsion from the obstruction so it could continue on its way, arriving in Kristiansund at 11 p.m. and continuing to Roervik in the morning of Jan 10.
