Captain found intoxicated
During a control the water police Hamburg remarked that the 50-year old captain of the "Cape Daly" had consumed alcohol when the ship was about to sail from Hamburg-Kattwyk on May 7, 2012, at 1.35 p.m. When he was blood tested, he had an alcohol level of 0,75 per thousand. The ship was arrested and was allowed to stay at its berth in Kattyk-port by the Hamburg Port Authority. Around 8 p.m. the ship was allowed to leave, bound for Rotterdam.
