Medevac off A Coruña
On March 15, 2022, the SAR helicopter Helimer 401 carried out a medical evacuation of a crew member from the 'Flex Ranger' about 120 nautical miles northwest of A Coruña. The patient has been safely hoisted and transferred to the Alvedro airport for further care. The tanker was underway from Zeebrugge to Sabine Pass when it requested Salvamento Marítimo for assistance. The operation was coordinated by the CCS Finisterre.
