Medevac off Shetland
A man had to be airlifted to hospital from athe "Floatel Victory" in the morning of Nov 19, 2015. Emergency services were alerted about 8.30 a.m., after the man fell ill on the support vessel north-west of Shetland. A Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was subsequently launched and he was airlifted to Tingwall Airport, before being transported by ambulance to Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick.
