On Jan 27, 2017, the "Frisia V" was taken in tow by the tugs "Anna 7" (MMSI: 244670907)and "Hendrik" and transferred to Groningen to be broken up jointly with the "Anna 7" after the DA Schiffsverwertung in Papenburg ceased operating. The convoy arrived at Jan 31.
