Floating storage unit (FSU) to be installed at Montego Bay

In the short term, New Fortress Energy is providing a floating storage unit (FSU) to Montego Bay. The FSU, which is expected to be the 138,000cbm Golar Arctic, is expected to be installed by the end of the year. Anglo Dutch Shell was named by sources as one of the likely term suppliers for the Jamaica LNG supply, but this could not be immediately confirmed.

Golar LNG to timecharter "Golar Arctic" to japanese company

Golar LNG is to timecharter its 2003-built LNGC, ‘Golar Arctic’, to a major Japanese trading company for three years. The charter is expected to commence in March 2012 following the end of the vessel's current charter. The annualised EBITDA contribution from this new charter is expected to be about $45 mill, Golar said.
