Classic Maritime fixes another capesize on timecharter
Economou-led Classic Maritime has fixed another capesize bulk carrier on timecharter, its second fixture of the week, while short-term period rates continue to offer a discount to those in the spot market. Classic is today reported to have fixed Aquabreeze (171,009 dwt, built 2003), owned by Greece’s Carras Hellas, on a five- to seven-month period charter at a daily rate of $7,500. The vessel will deliver promptly to the charterer in Fangcheng, China.
