43 migrants assisted off El Hierro

On Feb 28, the 'Guardarmar Talía' rescued 43 migrants of sub-Saharan origin from a canoe, which had been sighted about 56 nautical miles south of El Hierro. 107 migrants assisted off La Restinga

In the morning of Feb 12, the crew of the 'Guardamar Talía' located a cayuco in a distance of five nautical miles of La Restinga with 107 sub-Saharan people on board, including nine women and five minors, and accompanied it to the port of La Restinga, where it arrived at around 5:16 a.m. The rescue operation was coordinated by the CCS Tenerife of Salvamento Marítimo. 96 boat people rrescued in two missions

Two rescue missions for on the whole 96 migrants were coordinated by the CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo on oct 19, 2023. The 'Salvamar Macondo' rescued 52 people, among them one baby, from a precarious boat nine nautical miles east of Maspalomas. The castaways were transferred to Arguineguín. The 'Guardamar Talía' has rescued 44 people, among them one child, about 10 nautcal miles east of Lanzarote. The castaways were transferred to Arrecife.
