Technical trouble after yard stay

The "Høgsfjord" had to be withdrawn timewise from the Hareid-Sulesund route on June 21, 2017, and was sidelined in Hareid for troubleshooting. The ferry had just returned to service in the morning after the annual yard overhaul, but at 7.15 a.m. she was taken out of traffic until further notice due to technical problems.

Bearing warm - ferry service suspended

The "Høgsfjord" suffered technical problems on July 9, 2014, at 8.30 p.m. The service on the ferry route Volda - Lauvstad was temporarily suspended. A bearing of the gear was warm, so this had to be checked at the quay in Lauvstad. On July 10 the reserve ferry "Frafjord" was inserted with a first from Lauvstad at 06.00 a.m.

The "Høgsfjord" suffered engine Trouble causing a reduced engine power. Due to worsening weather conditions the ferry was withdrawn from the Stord - Kvinnherad service and will instead sail between Jektevik and Ranavik on Jan 26, 2012. However, there will be no predictable schedule and road users should contact the "Høgsfjord"'s company by phone before.
